National School Bus Safety Week
National School Bus Safety Week is October 21-25, 2024. The U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is urging drivers to slow down and be aware of school buses and school zones in their communities.

School Board Recognition Week to recognize school board members for their commitment to New York public school children. Recognizing school board member service should be a year-round endeavor, but designating one week to highlight these volunteers’ efforts ensures they receive some of the thanks they deserve. School Board Recognition Week is an opportunity to raise community awareness and understanding about the crucial role school board members have within a school district.

7th graders were crocheting and weaving during class today! The best part is they all were working as a team towards a common goal!
