This afternoon at JSHS we had a student who needed medical attention that prompted us to contact the Town of Highland Ambulance Corp. Our nurse and local support provided the necessary treatment until an ambulance could arrive. In collaboration with the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department, the student is currently in the hospital for evaluation purposes.
We take this kind of event very seriously and I ask that you understand that I cannot share any more than what I have stated.
Rest assured that the safety of your children is our primary concern and nothing will interfere with that goal.

We are gearing up for spring and summer with the Town of Highland & Greater Barryville Chamber of Commerce beautification and garden maintenance projects.
We'd love to hire a dedicated garden support intern (paid through the Sullivan 180 program) for the town. The hourly rate has increased this year, too!

The Hudson Valley Swim Program is now enrolling for its May/June swim lessons at the Fallsburg Junior-Senior High School for Sullivan County residents aged three months through adults. Please see flyer(s) for detail.
In recognition of Autism Awareness Month, Hudson Valley "Light it up Blue" (supported by INPSIRE in Goshen), a NO ENTRY FEE event is scheduled Saturday, April 27th from 4-9pm at The Country Club at Otterkill, 100 Otter Rd., Campbell Hall, NY 10916.
The event includes: Food, live entertainment, DJ, 50-50 raffle, door prize, photo booth, activity tables for children

Today is a buzzzy day at the Hive!! We have Jv softball heading to Tri-valley to take on the Bears . Varsity baseball is taking on the Comets after a huge win at home last night. Varsity track heading to Liberty to take on the Redhawks and the Bulldogs. Lastly the Varsity softball team is staying at the Hive to take on a Chester/ Seward combination. Go Yellowjackets!! Together we swarm! **check for updates about games and meets around 1:00 due to any weather or field condition changes.
